How often do I need service?

Brightland is here to deliver exceptional service for you anytime you need it. Planned service frequencies are different for different pests. Most of the pests (ants, spiders, roaches, etc.) bugging you in your home can be controlled with a quarterly (every 3 months) pest service. What can I expect when my home is being serviced?

Expect a licensed, uniformed, courteous team member to communicate with you before his arrival. Your technician will alert you personally that he has arrived. Please inform him of any pest-related issues or concerns that you have so they can be addressed. Your tech will perform a thorough pest inspection, remove nests and webs around your home’s exterior, apply bait around the perimeter of the house, treat vulnerable entry points (windows, doors, exterior penetrations, etc.), apply a barrier treatment around the perimeter of the foundation of your home, and write a detailed service report which will be sent to your email within 24hrs.

What about my pets and kids?

Our furry, feathered, and 4-legged friends are often very curious about new people and items in their environment. For their protection, we ask that dogs are crated during service and for 45 minutes to an hour after the service is complete. As parents, we understand that it may be more challenging to keep a 3-year-old away from something new and exciting in and around the house. We welcome their questions and interaction and only ask that you keep them out of treatment areas for 45 minutes to an hour after the service is complete.

Do you treat inside?

Yes, it is necessary to use targeted treatments inside the home for many types of pests. Your technician will use his integrated pest management knowledge to customize your treatment based on pest activity and what is safe.

Do I need to be home for my treatment?

Having a service professional visit your home may be inconvenient and cumbersome. Not so with Brightland. In most cases, you do not need to be at your house to have it treated. Using integrated pest management and premium pest control products, we can control most pests from the outside of your home.
